This is the nicest feeling in the world, leaning back at the computer chair and feeling stuffed. And sleepy. And looking at the clock and turns out it's still nine-fifteen p.m. Still a long way to go 'til my bedtime. :D
I can't wait till this Friday, where I'll get to have dinner with my college girls. And boys. It's been such a long time since I had a nice long talk with them, I hate this whole internship thing because it's tearing us apart ! Boo. I only get to see them on Wednesdays at campus during lunch, meanwhile we used to see each other 24/7 from Monday to Friday in campus and I miss those sleepovers as well.
I wanna watch Marley & Meeee even though I know I'm gonna cry my eyes out. Just so you know, I hate crying in cinemas. I try to act so cool and tough even though the end of Spiderman 3 made my eyes water. Shoot.
Well I'll update later then peoples. I wanna watch too many moviiiessss !
I miss my fwends.

..on second thought,
am I gonna be sued for saying "youtube-d" earlier?
You know, like how Google doesn't like it when we use the term "Googled". Rumors have it that they'll sue anyone who says it loud.
=S
Oh well. If I'm gonna be behind bars for this, it was very nice knowing you all.

gingerbreads
hello peoples.
I'm freezing cold right now. hey do you wanna know my latest infatuation aside from jason (again)?
Let's assume you do.
It's the BBC Series that airs in Hallmark, called Merlin. I am absolutely in awe of the one who plays Merlin, his name is Colin Morgan or some sort and he's Irish soooooooooo I already got hooked by his accent. I youtube-d him last night and found some really goofy backstage videos of him *sigh* he's really adorable. And he has the nicest voice and smile. And he plays Merlin pretty darn right too !
The new episode airs tonight at Hallmark but I don't think I'll be home yet when it shows. Boo. I'll catch re-runs then.
I'm hungry and I want French toasts !

i'm just a singer, you're the world
Yes, I'm still revolving around mr.mraz's world. This is normal, right?
Probably not.
Well anywayyy. I was watching a show in travel channel about some bartenders' race or some sort. Not really important but the restaurant scene really caught my attention.
I really, really, wanna open one when I'm older.
And it will be so much better if I get to open one abroad (you know how obsessed I am with the life abroad right?) It doesn't have to specialize on anything, it could as well be Indonesian authentic food restaurant, I don't care. I just wanna own one. And make menus for kids. And interact with the customers every day. And declare a National Desserts Day. And have a make-your-own-waffles bar. And have different theme every few months. I want it to be an all-ages restaurant so everyone can join in.
Which is whyyyyyyyyyyy,
I wanna enroll in culinary school. Aaah I should've choosen hospitality/tourism as my major. By the way, these past few days have been goood, kicking-back-and-relaxing dayoffs for me. Tomorrow is another day in the battlefield.
And my flu isn't even getting better yet.
Probably not.

COMPLETELY YOURS !

I cannot describe last night's performance other than mesmerizing. It might not be the most perfect concert of all times and it might not make history, but it was M-E-S-M-E-R-I-Z-I-N-G. Mr. Mraz knew exactly what he was doing! tsk.
So I arrived long before his show started, and managed to inch closer to the stage with the girls. His opening song was Make It Mine-- despite the nice beats, not my most favorite. But who cares when someone that gorgeous is onstage plucking the strings added with his incredible soothing voice, right ?
He really took in the crowds with him so all the girls went ga-ga each time he said something riduculous. That's right, he was even joking onstage a couple of times and managed to slip in Oasis's Wonderwall lyrcis, while the whole audience sang along in hysterics.
At least I did.
And yes he did sing Beautiful Mess ! *wink, nadya!* It was completely, absolutely beautiful. He made those weird but unbelievably smooth jazz sounds with his mouth and said "Well, this is a jazz festival after all right?"
See what I wrote in the previous post about his effortlessly cool , dynamic onstage act? Well, he proved it last night as he moved around, did a little dance every now and then, acting along with his own lyrics and beats, and even did a little salsa.
At which point I almost fainted.
Haha. It's so very teeny-bopperish of me, I know, but please. If you were there, you'd be screaming your heart out for him as well. And speaking of teeny boppers, there was a group of 'underage' girls singing along with their high-pitched voice that not only bled my ears, they also kept nudging forward in hysterics.
Made me stare longingly at the heavy camera settings and wondering how it would feel if it dropped on their pretty little heads.
But all violence aside, it was an unforgettable show. I am infatuated with the guy even more now.
In the end, Jason Mraz's live show was even better than I imagined-far better. His voice is smooth as hell, no cracks at all, his hyped-up stage acts were incredible, and even though I had to cram in with 9,000 other people, at Rp. 450.000 a ticket it was definitely definitely definitely worth it.

do you hear me, talking to you ?
yes, I am going to see Mr. A to Z tonight. :)))
I think he's one of the really coolest male singers in the world right now. His song lyrics are puzzling yet brilliant, he's devastatingly good-looking but what i love most about him is his style ! I've seen previous concerts of his through youtube and onstage, he's AMAZING !
So i really, reallly can't wait til tonight, yay yay yay :))
I hope he'll perform 1000 Things. Or Life is Wonderful. Or Lucky.
By the waaayy, last night I went out with my (internship) office co-workers to Shangrila's incredible Satoo restaurant. Tsk, tsk. I can hear your brains clicking. It was all paid by the bosses (I think?) and it was an all-you-can-eat heaven. I mean it, the foods were out of this world, and I got it free :D I really am a lucky little weasel, huh?
Turned out that apparently it's a very common thing for them to have this kind of staff dinner. So i stuffed myself with duck-in-a-roll (I don't know what you call it, really), ribs, potato soup, breads, sushi, grilled fish, roti canai, and ended it all with a sweet, tangy caramel-in-a-cup.
Close your mouth and wipe the drools off it, folks.
I will update later, gotta take some pills for the flu and prepare for Java Jazz. Will post stories bout it later!

snowflakes
The town i'm living in has suddenly become cold. Or maybe that's just me, since the flu has been very attracted to me recently like fat kids to cakes.
I will update soon , peoples. My fingers are numb, and my voice sounds funny.
